Roger Olsen

Roger moved to Deer Isle in 1999 from Vermont,  trading the Green Mountains for the rugged Maine coast. Roger has a BS in Biology from University of Vermont and an AS in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales College (now University). His career path has been guided primarily by the specialty foods industry including owner and Chef of the former Penobscot Bay Provisions in Stonington. Prior to joining the team at The Island Agency, Roger was a sales rep for national and international cheese producers. 

 

Roger lives in South Deer Isle with his partner and daughter and is an avid runner and enjoyer of the beautiful landscape surrounding this very special and unique community. He serves on the board of the Healthy Island Project (HIP) with particular focus on Edible Island - the food security and education branch of HIP.
